This coming Saturday, September 30, the Wilmington Library, partnered with UMass Boston, will be hosting the Mass. Memories Road Show.  The Wilmington Rotary Club is thrilled to sponsor this event the help preserve images of Wilmington for future generations.

The Mass. Memories Road Show is a statewide digital history project that documents people, places, and events in Massachusetts history through family photographs and stories.  Volunteers scan family and community photographs and videotape "the stories behind the photos," then are indexed and incorporated into an online educational database at openarchives.umb.edu.

Since its launch, the project has gathered over 9,000 photographs and stories from across the state.  On Saturday, September 30, they will be at the Wilmington High School Cafeteria from 10am until 3pm.  For more information, click here.
